& yet he is still so sweet & forgiving.

His worthless owner decided it cost too much to have his Dobies ears surgically cropped by a veterinarian, so he cruelly cut them himself.  This is mutilationat its least.

    This one haunts me!  The owner of this dog, a former restruant owner in Springfield, Mo. only allowed us to feed her starving dog with 8 puppies.  I begged to have her spayed, but she said she mad a better watch dog if she stayed intact.  The %*& had a beautiful home on the south east side of town with a nice 6 ft. privacy fence, but she refused to allow the mother off the chain. What stupidity.  I had no choice, but to give up. Two of the pups were run over & killed by traffic, four were picked up and euthanized by our city shelter...only two was I able to save and they got a wonderful, loving home with my favorite News Leader Columnist.  How sad a statement is it to say..."I live in Missouri."                        

         I am so sorry girl ! Forgive me.

This is the north side of Springfield...I'd growl too! It might be the last bone you will ever get, right?  See the left over flood water mud behind him.  He nearly drowned one of those days when the water got high.  The owner sat inside, you got it...totally unconcerned.  Human-kindlessness!
