Who Said, "You Can't Teach an Old Dog New Tricks?"

Senior Airdale
Maybe you ought to give one a chance!

Millions of senior dogs (6 years old and up) die each year because...of course, everyone wants a puppy!   Unfortunately it is often even the seniors themselves that "get the whim" or maybe their "second childhood" to buy a puppy or a dog a year or under.  Are they even thinking?  I though that those that had retired or of that age were wiser than that.  Those years are often too unpredictable.  A dog can often out live their master , only to leave behind a sweet thing like Molly(above).  Now, she not only has lost her beloved master, but will now lose the rest of her life.  How sad!  If you really want to add something to your life before the great BEYOND, adopt a senior dog.  There are thousands out there that are healthy, house trained, crate trained, leash trained, fully vaccinated and fully socialized.  What a waste of love to euthanize simply because of age.  They give many years of love only to thrown away like old rubbish.  HAVE a HEART seniors...you will be so rewarded.
